Nasty Girls - the PG-13 Version

Wishing a happy birthday to Elise!! Congrats to my fellow Libra. Today we did Nasty Girls, but of course since I can't actually do muscle ups I did a wonderfully modified version. Most people did jumping muscle ups, but those actually make my shoulder muscles feel like it's tearing off of the bone. Pretty painful. I ended up just doing jumping ring dips. Kind of lame, I know, but I'd rather do that than injure my shoulder more.

Workout:
"Nasty Girls" (the easy version)
50 air squats
14 jumping ring dips
10 power cleans (85lbs)

I definitely skimped on my first set of air squats. I will do 50 squats tonight when I get home to make up for my poor showing. I've been feeling like I haven't been giving it my all lately. I've noticed that my times aren't where I think they should be.

I have put on a few pounds with the stress of work and class. That may be part of the problem. Regardless, I'm not happy about it. I want to push harder and faster. Is it possible to find perfection while pushing yourself??

You can never find perfection, just hope for constant improvement, even if it's in small steps!

me neither. i see perfection everyday. or maybe i just have lower standards. damn..

Perfection is all around.. it's just how you define it.
