Over My Head

Tuesday, Sept. 9;

I'm usually just fine when I have a full plate. This time, I wonder if I may have overdone it.

New position at work
&
New classes

Doesn't sound like too much, but really you should see my reading list and the frighting 30 days which I will fondly refer to as October look like.
I told Keturah today, I have room for three thanks in my life .. work, school and Crossfit. Nothing else! It may kill me too.

Workout:
Heavy Single Strict press: 73, 74, 75
Modified Deadlift: 85x15, 95x15, 105x15, 110x15

I was in the worst mood this morning. I love heavy lifting days when I'm in a bad mood though. I usually use my frustration to move the bar. It felt pretty awesome to hit 75lb in the strict press. I think my max pre-injury was between 70-75. I tried and failed a few times, but finally hit the 75lb, and I think I may have been able to go heavier.



Finally the mod. dead. felt good. Jerry figured it out! Don't bend my knees. My back has been saved!

Monday, September 8;
This workout marked the beginning of a ton of changes.. already went into them sort of up top, so I won't bore you.

Workout:
AMRAP in 30 mins
20 pullups
30 pushups
40 abmat situps
50 squats

Total: 4.25

This workout really, really hurt. The pullups are serious shoulder killers and the pushups just tweak it even more. Someone stop me please!
